The Conference Student Bursary

The deadline has been extended to 30th MAY 2018 for your chance to attend the Conference.

This bursary funds two students to attend the Costume Society's annual three-day conference. It is open to UK full-time and part-time students at a graduate and postgraduate level engaged in research directed towards the presentation of a dissertation or thesis.

Ideally, the research should either reflect a theme of that year's symposium or be an object-based research project on the history of dress.

The bursary offers full attendance at the conference inclusive of accomodation, meals and all visits and activities in the conference programme, but does not cover transport to and from the symposium.

The 2017 winners: Danielle Mariann Dove, University of Portsmouth and Fleur Elkerton, BA University College, London
