The Daphne Bullard Grant

The Daphne Bullard Trust was set up in 1973 on the initiative of the family of the late Mrs Daphne Bullard (1916-1971), Keeper of Worcestershire County Museum at Hartlebury Castle, “to promote the conservation of dress and textiles of all periods and their display.”

It considers applications from small museums and organisations engaged in the conservation of dress and textiles of any period and their display. In 2016 the award was incorporated into the DB, KC and EH Association. Awards are made to museums and smaller organisations which seek to conserve and display costume and textiles. The total sum available each year is approximately £1,000 funded by the Association and applications may be made throughout the year.
