Patterns of Fashion and Patterns for Performance 2025 Award Winners Announced

We are excited to announce the winners of our 2025 Patterns of Fashion and Patterns for Performance Awards!

The winner, highly commended and runner-up of the Patterns of Fashion 2025 award are: 

Winner: Lana Vargas, UAL Wimbledon College of Arts, Pattern for Mens Frock Coat 1820-30, Collection of the V&A

Highly commended: Verity Joy, University of the Arts Bournemouth, Pattern for Pelisse Robe 1824-27, collection of Salisbury Museum

Runner up: Georgia Barclay, UAL Wimbledon College of Arts, Pattern from red stitched stays and stomacher, 1640-60, Filmer Collection Platt Hall

 

The winner, highly commended and runner-up for the Patterns for Performance 2025 award are:

Winner: Philip Winter, UAL Wimbledon College of Arts, Costume for Anton Antonovich Skvoznik-Dmukhanovsky in The Government Inspector

Highly commended: Parker Spear, University of the Arts Bournemouth, Costume for Figaro in Le Nozze Di Figaro

Runner up: Sophie Fretwell, University of Arts Bournemouth, Costume for Prospero in The Tempest

The finalists work was showcased at our AGM in July and was judged by costume and set designer Tom Pye.
