Harris Museum Library and Art Gallery, Preston, 2017

The conservation of a blue pinafore dress and chemisette made of French blue linen with Art Nouveau detailing worn by a Miss Armison, a resident of Preston in about 1900-10.

Although not a couture garment, it is a good example of what was worn at the time by educated, fashionable, professional women in the north of England.
