Patterns of Fashion Award Winner 2016

Winner Amy Jones, Coleg y Cymoedd

Amy created a 16th century leather jerkin. 

Four finalists attended the finals held during the Conference judged by John Bright,  Founder and Managing Director of Cosprop.

John Bright commented on Amy's work saying that he was impressed not only by the skills she had shown in the handling of this difficult material whilst recreating the jerkin but also her thorough research into the methods used and studying garments of a similar age.

The other finalists were Rachel Walker, Katie Hawken and Jerry Moore.
