Get up close to the costumes shortlisted for our much-anticipated 2023 Patterns of Fashion & Patterns for Performance Awards!
Members of the Costume Society are invited, free of charge, to our 2023 annual general meeting and celebration of our awards and grants programme.
Get up close to designs created by our fantastic finalists. We will be joined by the finalists of this year’s Patterns for Performance Awards – celebrating excellence in costume design for stage and screen. We will also be joined by the finalists of the 2023 Patterns of Fashion Awards – inspired by the work of Janet Arnold and Norah Waugh this year’s finalists have intricately and faithfully recreated clothing from the past. The results are astounding, and all 8 pieces of costume will be on display.
BAFTA and Emmy award-winning costume designer Michele Clapton will be with us to judge these awards and choose this year’s winners.
We will start at 12 and finish at 5. In addition to these garments, you can learn about the work of The Costume Society in the past 12 months and hear about the exciting opportunities and plans we have ready for the future.
