Are you one of the Costume Society’s next Elected Officers?

The Costume Society has vacancies for up to three Elected Officers (Trustees) to represent the Membership on the Executive Committee and you must be a member of the Costume Society to undertake this role.

This role, which serves for three years, is a Trustee and plays an important part in the running of the society in its mission to promote the study and preservation of dress from all periods and from across the world.

For full details of the nature of the role, please see our detailed document which tells you what your duties would be and what we would expect of you as a Trustee.

Elected Officers are normally elected by the Members of the Society at the AGM (5th July 2025), but this year we will also be able to co-opt into the role.

If you would like to have an informal discussion about the role please contact Philip Warren, The Chair of the Society to arrange a telephone call before Friday 20th June.

We should receive your expression of interest (sent to Philip Warren) by Sunday 29th June.
